मुझे आज भी फिल्में बनाना नफरत की हद तक नापसंद है! और हॉलीवुड भी मुझे इससे ज़्यादा नहीं भाता। मुझे लाइमलाइट से सख्त चिढ़ है और सादगी से प्यार है, और हॉलीवुड में तो बस शोहरत का शोर-शराबा ही सब कुछ है। अगर हॉलीवुड मुझे बिना किसी दबाव और हड़बड़ी के अपने हिसाब से जीने दे, तो शायद इसके बारे में मेरा नज़रिया बदल जाए। लेकिन फिलहाल हॉलीवुड मुझे बेहद डरावना, दखलअंदाजी करने वाला और सब कुछ निगल जाने वाला लगता है। यही वजह है कि मैं जितनी जल्दी हो सके इसे छोड़ देना चाहती हूँ।
I still hate making pictures! And I don't like Hollywood any better. I detest the limelight and love simplicity, and in Hollywood the only thing that matters is the hullabaloo of fame. If Hollywood will let me alone to find my way without forcing me and rushing me into things, I probably will change my feelings about it. But at present Hollywood seems utterly horrible and interfering and consuming. Which is why I want to leave it as soon as I am able.
